Gregory G. Olsen, DDS, FICOI
Dr. Gregory G. Olsen is a distinguished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon renowned for his deep expertise and compassionate approach to patient care. A graduate with honors from the prestigious Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, Dr. Olsen further honed his skills during his specialty training at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, where he focused on trauma, pathology, bone grafting, and dentoalveolar surgery, with a particular emphasis on dental implants.
Board-certified both as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Dental Anesthesiologist, Dr. Olsen is committed to excellence in every aspect of his practice. His dedication to staying at the forefront of his field is evident in the hundreds of hours he devotes each year to continuing education, ensuring that he remains updated on the latest procedures and technologies.
Dr. Olsen is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He holds memberships with the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the California Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the National Board of Dental Anesthesiology. His professional memberships also include the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.
Alexander R. Powell, DDS
Dr. Powell is a California native, born and raised in Chino Hills. He attended California State University Fullerton where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in Biological Science (2014), the first generation of his family to graduate from college. Afterwards he attended the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2019.
Dr. Powell completed his surgical residency at University of California San Francisco Fresno's four-year program, 2023. This program included a broad scope in training from all facets of oral and maxillofacial surgery including dental implantology, ambulatory sedation for dentoalveolar procedures, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, head and neck benign and malignant pathology. Training was completed at the only Level 1 trauma center in the Central Valley.
Dr. Powell is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as of 2024.
Dr. Powell is dedicated to providing the best experience and care possible for his patients. Outside of work he enjoys golf, running, weight lifting, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife and three daughters.

Consultation and Planning

Implant Placement
When you lose a tooth, you also lose the roots that keep it in place. Your doctor will add a small, screw-like post made of titanium into your jaw bone.
This acts like the root of your missing tooth.

Take Time to Heal
Over the course of several months, your jaw bone will grow around the titanium post, holding it firmly in place.
This will keep your jaw strong and prevent it from deteriorating over time.

Add the Crown
After your jaw heals, your doctor will attach a new, custom-made tooth to the post — this is called a crown.
The crown will be shaped and colored to perfectly match your other teeth.
